Frequently Asked Questions

What happens to my donation?

All donations received are put towards the Foundation's inaugural project, the establishment of a dedicated Paediatric Unit at a cost of $3 million. To date (September 2008) the Foundation has raised 90% of the target.

Isn't it the government's responsibility to fund our public hospitals?

Yes, but government funding stretches only so far. Peel Health Campus Foundation has been established to raise extra funds to provide for priority health needs in the Peel Region.

Can I decide how my donation is spent?

Our first project is to establish a dedicated children's ward within Peel Health Campus and this is where all monies raised will be channeled.
