Peel Health Foundation Fundraising
The Peel Region of Western Australia is one of the fastest growing regions
in Australia. The demands for health improvement are likewise increasing. Already there is an established collaborative approach to health care in the Peel Region.
In 2005, the Peel Health Foundation was established to support the
promotion, the prevention and control of disease in the Peel Region by the provision of:
• Treatment caring;
• Activities that control diseases;
• Education, training and research;
• Aids and equipment; and
• Provision of relevant facilities
There is not enough money to do everything, but the people of the Peel
community deserve the best. A strategy to fill in the gaps within
government funding was the reason for the creation of the
Peel Health Foundation.
The Foundation's inaugural project was the establishment of a dedicated Paediatric Wing at the Peel Health Campus. This was followed by the funding of the Peel Mobile Health Clinic vehicle. Further projects and initiatives are described on the Projects page.
Thank you for your ongoing support in providing better health for the community of Peel.
