PURPOSE

Peel Health Campus Foundation has been developed to improve the quality of healthcare in the Peel region.

People who wish to volunteer their time will contribute to the maintenance of fundraising activities for the Foundation.

FOUNDATION VISION

Our vision is to promote health and raise funds for health needs in the Peel region.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential

  • Satisfactory character references and federal police clearance.
  • Understanding of and agreement to abide by privacy / confidentiality provisions.
  • Effective communication skills (listening, conversing, reading).
  • Physical fitness for the area of volunteered service.
  • Practical skills appropriate to chosen areas of service.

Desirable

  • Previous experience with a volunteer organization.

POSITION RELATIONSHIP

    Responsible to the Chief Executive, Peel Health Campus Foundation.

    Accountable to customers through the Chief Executive.

    FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Liaise and cooperate with the Chief Executive and his assistant in the planning and delivery of service to donors and sponsors.
    • Be available to provide services as planned or make notification if unable to attend as planned.
    • Provide formal notification if intending to discontinue volunteer service/s.
