About Us
The Peel Health Campus Foundation, based at Peel Heath Campus, was launched on June 24th 2005 by Patron, Clinical Professor Fiona Wood (Australian of the Year 2005) to help raise funds for health needs in the Peel region.
The Foundation's inaugural project is the establishment of a dedicated Paediatric Unit at a cost of $3.8 million (at 2010 costs). Thanks to the large number of generous donors, the Foundation has raised (including pledges) more than $3.5 million which has enabled a start to take place on the building. The Foundation still needs to raise the remainder of the money to fund the fixtures and fittings required to operate the new paediatric wing.
Peel Health Campus Foundation has received generous support from all sections of the Community, including: federal, state and local politicians; local shires and government agencies; corporate and small business; community groups; sporting clubs; service clubs; schools; and individuals.
